It all starts with a moodboardThe idea started with just dropping the e from "Tupperware" to create the title "TupperWar". The idea of a group of the ladies going to war over some plastic containers made me laugh so I knew I had to pursue it. Tupperware parties used to be a popular sales tactic in the 50's and 60's so I based most of the visual identity of the show in that time. Everything from the circle skirts to the UPA art style. I wanted to to look friendly at first glance but dangerous on the second.

Exploring Visual IdentitiesI explored various visual styles from retro UPA stylization to a more modern photo collage aesthetic. I wanted to make it immediately apparent that this show was based in the 50s-60s. After I showed it to my peers I landed on the first option because it had the most positive reception as well as being easy to animate.

Style Frames
In the end I adjusted the colors to better help with the contrast. I made the blues much brighter to draw attention to important elements such as the Tupperware the women are fighting over and the the bleach one of them uses as a weapon.
